I was born and raised in Milan, Italy. Since my early childhood I was immersed in the world of art. Artists, such as Michelangelo, Bernini, Troubetzkoy, and Bugatti have inspired me greatly. I tried to learn their technique, the emotions that is behind – within, their art. Making my art is my way to express myself in my truest, most personal form. I put all my emotions in the sculptures and try to translate what I discover and learn from nature and the simple day to day life into the clay as I am modeling it. Usually I work with oil-based clay. The beauty and quickness of this medium lets me get right away to what I am trying to communicate. Working on my sculptures as fast as possible is key for me, because I don’t want to lose the “moment”.
